I help businesses grow by aligning brand, audience, and technology—building scalable communication systems powered by AI.
About
I’m a strategist, builder, and creative who helps businesses grow by aligning their brand, audience, and technology. My career has been shaped by two complementary paths: more than 15 years working in creative marketing and brand storytelling, and over a decade serving as a director in the financial services industry.
That combination of creative thinking and analytical discipline shapes the way I approach business. Through Sandpiper Strategy, I help founders and teams clarify their message, connect with the right audience, and implement AI-enabled systems that turn strong communication into scalable growth. My work blends storytelling, psychographic insight, and practical technology to help businesses build meaningful relationships with the people they serve.
CLIENTS
Bub & Pop / Matt Hoffman
Objective: Expand audience reach and strengthen brand identity through multimedia storytelling and automated distribution.
The Challenge
Matt Hoffman has built a respected voice as a music journalist, with deep insight into artists, culture, and the evolving music industry. But like many independent creators, the challenge wasn’t the quality of the content—it was scale. Long-form conversations, thoughtful interviews, and unique perspectives were being produced, but without a system to consistently capture, distribute and amplify them across modern digital channels. In a fragmented media landscape, strong ideas alone aren’t enough; they need infrastructure behind them to reach the right audiences.
The Approach
My work with Matt focuses on brand development - building both the creative and technical systems needed to expand Matt’s reach while preserving the authenticity of his voice. The strategy begins with developing a multimedia content engine built around a podcast and interviews. I collaborate with Matt on creative direction and production - including filming, editing, and shaping each episode into a compelling long-form conversation.
From there, the work extends beyond production into distribution and amplification. Using a combination of AI-driven tools and automation platforms, I am building a system that transforms each episode into multiple formats—short-form video, social clips, written excerpts, and promotional assets. These assets are then automatically distributed across platforms to increase visibility and engagement while maintaining consistency with the Bub & Pop brand.
The Result
The goal is to transform Bub & Pop from a single podcast into a scalable media platform—one where strong journalism is supported by a modern communication system capable of reaching audiences wherever they are. By combining storytelling, production, and automation, the project demonstrates how independent creators can expand their reach without losing the voice and perspective that make their work meaningful.
NERD INC
Objective: Restructure corporate infrastructure and align internal systems to support scalable growth, capital raising, and brand development.
The Challenge
Nerd began as an innovative concept focused on building community through shared interests, but like many early-stage startups, the operational structure behind the idea had become fragmented. The company was originally formed through a complex founding partnership that became disorganized after several early founders stepped away, leaving behind an unclear LLC structure and operational gaps. As a result, governance, financial clarity, and the company’s readiness for future investment became difficult to navigate.
Without a clean corporate framework and integrated operational systems, it becomes difficult for founders to communicate clearly with investors, coordinate internal workflows, onboard new talent, or present a coherent vision to the outside world. For Nerd, the opportunity was strong, but the infrastructure needed to be rebuilt in order to support long-term growth.
The Approach
My work with Nerd focuses on bringing structure and alignment to both the internal and external sides of the business. On the corporate side, I have been working with the founders to restructure the company from a fragmented LLC framework into a new brand and clean corporate entity designed to support future capital raising. Alongside that restructuring, I am helping implement internal systems that unify communication, workflow management, financial tracking, and operational decision-making.
At the same time, we are developing the outward-facing narrative of the company. I collaborate closely with the founders team on brand positioning, storytelling, and communication strategy to help clearly articulate Nerd’s vision to investors and future users. This includes producing, filming, and editing video content that communicates the product, the mission, and the community the platform is designed to serve.
The Result
The goal is to position Nerd not just as a compelling idea, but as a well-structured company capable of scaling responsibly and attracting the right partners and investors. By aligning corporate structure, internal systems, and external storytelling, the project demonstrates how early-stage companies can transform complexity into clarity while building momentum for the next stage of growth.
PIANO PALACE
Objective: Support entrepreneurial succession by guiding the launch of a new retail music business, from acquisition and brand development to operational systems and market presence.
The Challenge
Piano Palace began as an opportunity created through retirement succession. A long-established piano retailer was preparing to exit the business, creating the possibility for a new entrepreneur to step in and build the next chapter of the market. However, turning that opportunity into a functioning company required more than simply acquiring inventory.
The transition involved navigating the purchase of product from a retiring business, structuring a new company, establishing a new brand identity, and building the operational systems needed to run a modern retail business. Without careful coordination across inventory procurement, financial management, communications, and retail infrastructure, the process of launching the new venture could quickly become overwhelming for a first-time founder.
The Approach
My work with Piano Palace focuses on helping the founder transform the opportunity into a fully operational business. I am guiding the sourcing and procurement of inventory from the retiring retailer and supporting the transaction process to ensure a smooth transition of product and assets into the new company.
At the same time, we are building the foundation of the new business itself. This includes forming the company, developing the brand identity, and implementing the operational systems required to support day-to-day activity—from communication workflows to point-of-sale systems and financial bookkeeping.
Beyond internal operations, I work closely with the founder on external communications and marketing, including social media content and storytelling that helps introduce the new brand to the local community. The project also extends into real estate strategy as the founder prepares to open a new retail location designed to support both sales and music education.
The Result
The goal is to transform a retirement transition into a new entrepreneurial venture—one that preserves the legacy of a local music business while building the systems, brand, and infrastructure needed for the next generation of growth.
